Requirements:
- Mandatory: Proven experience in leading a QA/testing team.
- Experience:7–10 years of hands-on testing experience across various application types including web, mobile, desktop, and POS (Point of Sale) systems.
- Strong hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation test frameworks and manual testing.
- Solid understanding of the Agile testing life cycle.
- Expertise in identifying comprehensive test scenarios and writing high-quality test cases.
- Ability to contribute effectively to test plans, test design, and test reporting.
- Proficient in using Jira or similar defect management tools.
- Good exposure to databases with strong working knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proven team leadership abilities.
- Experience in performance testing using JMeter.
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman or Swagger.
- Preferred: Experience in E-commerce or ERP domains.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyse functional and non-functional requirements; validate them from an end-user perspective and highlight any gaps.
- Design comprehensive test cases ensuring high coverage of all requirements.
- Execute test cases and document detailed test results.
- Prepare and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM).
- Log defects with detailed information using a bug tracking tool and follow up until closure.
- Coordinate closely with the development team for defect resolution.
- Perform regression testing as needed across impacted features.
- Review and update existing test cases regularly to ensure relevance and accuracy.
- Manage and update project dashboards using project management tools.
- Provide regular progress updates to senior management.
